With Apple not providing an official Stocks app for iPad, there is the potential for another company to produce a fantastic application to take that place. At the same time, the iPad is fantastic for reading content, especially in the morning before the stock market has opened, making it the perfect way to read daily recommendations. One app that can provide this is Stock Signals, a universal app for the iPad and iPhone.

Stock Signals is packed full of the usual features that you would expect, but also has some nice additions. There is the ability to sync between different devices, so you can track everything between the different platforms that the app is offered on. You’ve also got a watchlist, which it brilliantly synced across devices once you’ve signed up to an account. The recommendations are also great, providing some usual suggestions as to what you should research further.

The app is incredibly easy to use, which is important if you’re going to be browsing the app while you’re eating breakfast. It’s perfect if you’re in a rush, as you can look at the information and browse the app quickly, with minimal fuss. Anybody will be find the app easy to use, with the UI making everything clear and easy to find. Most importantly however, the information provided is clear and precise, meaning that you won’t get it mixed up. This is partly because the app has been well designed for both devices, with the design of each app unique, making it suitable for each platform. The iPhone app keeps everything easy to use, while the iPad app does a great job of showcasing the extra information on the bigger screen.

At first, this app definitely seems expensive. It’s quite a high price compared to what we are used to paying today in the App Store. However, for this app, it’s definitely worth it for some. It’s universal, which makes it a good value for money, especially for an app of this nature. it’s for a niche market, and if you’re interesting in buying this app, it’s will most definitely be worth it to you. This is especially true if you’re interested in trades, as the recommendations might just lead you to big profits, paying off the cost of the app many times over.

As for the negatives, there are a few things that could be added that could improve the app. It would be nice if a search was added, as it can be quite difficult to identify a stock if you’re trying to find something in a hurry. At the same time, it would be great if more markets, such as the NASDAQ were added, as it’s currently lacking in quite a few of the big stocks. Apart from that, the app has got a lot of the things it needs, and I’m sure future updates will improve the app to make it the perfect option.

Overall, a fantastic app that should definitely be considered if you’re looking for a stock market app that not only provides the figures, but also provides recommendations.
